Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Raveelo ("Raveelo", "we") collects when you use raveelo.shop, how we use it and the choices you have.

1. The short version

  • The square face editor runs in your browser. Avatars you design are not uploaded to our servers.
  • We collect only what we need to take payments, provide paid features and answer support requests.
  • Photos uploaded to AI Photo are deleted within 24 hours and never used to train AI models.
  • We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party ads.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Purchase details: name, email address, billing country and postal code, plan purchased, and payment status. Card or PayPal account details are collected directly by Stripe or PayPal; we only receive limited information such as card brand and last four digits.
  • AI Photo uploads: the photo you submit and your chosen style.
  • Support messages: your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical logs: IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and timestamps, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
  • Local storage: your browser may store editor preferences on your device. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the Service, including processing purchases, activating credits and generating AI avatars.
  • To send receipts, renewal reminders and important account or policy notices.
  • To respond to support, refund and cancellation requests.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Legal bases (EEA/UK): performance of a contract (purchases, paid features), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (where required) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

4. AI Photo processing

Photos are used only to generate the avatar you requested. They are transmitted over HTTPS, processed by our AI processing provider under a data processing agreement, and automatically deleted from processing storage within 24 hours. We never use uploaded photos or generated avatars to train AI models, and we do not use them for facial recognition or identification.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Raveelo, under contracts that protect your data:

  • Payment processors: Stripe and PayPal, to process payments, prevent fraud and handle disputes.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • AI processing provider: to generate avatars from uploaded photos.
  • Email provider: to send receipts and respond to support requests.
  • Authorities: when required by law or to protect rights, safety and property.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

  • AI Photo uploads: deleted within 24 hours.
  • Purchase and transaction records: kept for as long as required by tax and accounting laws (typically up to 7 years).
  • Support emails: kept for up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
  • Server logs: kept for up to 30 days.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK and US states such as California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@raveelo.shop. We respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls and reputable providers to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of breaches where required by law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and notify paying customers of material changes by email.
